What is a Jamb Runz Scholarship?
The Jamb Runz 2021 is a unique exhibition of the New Zealand craft and art. The event takes place annually at the South Island’s Rodney Park, Auckland. Exhibitors from around the country, as well as international visitors, flock to this unique expo to explore the craft of Maori art and traditional rural design.
The idea behind the Jamb Runz Scholarship Fund is simple. Artisans like you and I will donate money to support the livelihood of Maori artists. This means your future jamb expo involvement could help improve the lives of rural Maori in New Zealand. The great thing about the scholarships for the 21st century is that they’re not only a tax deductible way to help fund the future of rural Maori culture but they’re also an excellent opportunity for talented Maori to get recognized in the arts community and develop their career.
